Like Roulette, Sic-Bo is an online game of chance, played with three dice. By relying on the player’s luck (but also on their strategy), one must pay close attention not to lose. Before starting, let’s learning a little more about each strategy.
Sic-bo, also known as Tai-Sai, is a game with Chinese origins. "Sic-bo" translates to "precious dice" in Mandarin, while "Tai Sai" means "big little".
Sic-bo is a casino game popularly played in Macau and Hong Kong. However, the online version is played all over the world, and inplayBet is no different. In the early 20th century, Chinese immigrants brought it to the United States. Since then, it has spread to several North American casinos. Furthermore, it can also be found in the UK. Sic-bo can also be compared to craps, another popular dice game in casinos.
“Grand hazard” is a game of British origin, also played with dice. However, in this case it is played with three dice, which differs from other two-dice games. The dice are thrown or rolled by a kind of chute with inclined planes. This mode pays 18 to one.
“Chuck-a-luck” is a variant from the United States. Unlike the other versions, the dice are kept in a wire cage like a game show. To bet, the dealer spins the cage and the player bets on a number. You win if the same combination appears on all three dice. Fun fact: chuck-a-luck is not as common in today's casinos. In general, games are nowadays held to raise funds for charity.
Sic-bo is played with three six-sided dice, and the dealer shakes them before rolling them on the table. Just like in roulette, the player needs to place chips on the board and bet with them. After the dealer's move, winning bets will be paid as per the odds on the screen. Many of these can go up to 999:1 odds of winning.
The most common bet types are small/large, where the total sum of the three dice will be 4-10 (small) or 11-17 (large). In odd or even bets, the sum of all dices must (obviously) be odd or even. There are also other combinations of numbers, like specific sequences or doubles, each with unique chances of winning. These bets are no match to triples when it comes to rewards. Triples happen when the dice show the same number on all three die. A double happens when a single number appears on two die. A single die bet is when a single specific number, ranging from one to six is rolled on one single die. Finally, a three dice total bet is when the exact total amount of the dice between four and 17 is rolled.
